Serenity Now

This weekend’s covers and headlines can be described in one word: Complacency. Or call it naive bliss, which is not surprising since J6P and the mass media focus on the DJIA, which was near all-time highs as recently as a week and a half ago. It’s natural to be complacent now, reviewing last quarter’s brokerage statements, seeing our nice gains, knowing its because of our superior investment skills… ahhh, serenity now. But just remember what comes after serenity now. If you’re a Seinfeld fan, you know it’s:

“Serenity now, insanity later.”
